Photo restoration down on the farm.

Alice from Gisborne wanted this precious old family photo brought back to life. It had become badly discoloured and was fading, like so many of the photos from this time period, the early 70's. the photo came out great and Alice was very pleased with the restoration. Thank you Richard! What a great result. I've put payment through. - Alice   PixelFIX - Photo restoration and photos repaired, from $15. The restoration and manipulation specialists. Royal Commission to restore Photos

I was approached last year by the Queen Nanasipauu of Tonga to restore some photos for the Department of Tongan  Culture. This was initially 1 batch of photos with some extreme examples of damage caused by mold, fading and also termite damage. Below is one of the very old images taken from outside the palace in Tonga. From humble beginnings.

This photo was sent to me by Keryn for restoration last week. I believe it is a photo of the first T&T Childrenswear store. The image has been badly faded and has also been in contact with another surface that has left a patterned shadow on the image in some places. I was able to remove the patterned marks using the stamp and patch tools in Photoshop. Then I had to paint in the missing areas that had faded away. A difficult task but I am pleased with the final result, the photo looks 100% improved and is able to be enjoyed once again. Thanks Richard received they look great. - Keryn  PixelFIX - Photo restoration and photos repaired, from $15. The restoration and manipulation specialists. Click here for 'fancy view'

Restoring detail to faded horse photo

Celia sent me this photo to see if I could restore detail in the photo and make it enjoyable again. As you can see the fading was quite severe, causing whole blocks of background detail to be lost.  Celia - "It's certainly an improvement! Thank you." The lower portion of the face was also affected. This does make restoring this old photo much more difficult. But by using Photoshop I have been able to add some definition to the details of the face and the photo now looks a lot better. Faded photos

Most old black and white photos become faded and turn brownish in colour. This is usually from the sun. Keep your important photos out of direct sunlight to maximise there life span. pixelfix  for high quality photo restorations
